Solo Capital Founder, Sanjay Shah, Receives Bumper Returns

In 2012, Sanjay Shah netted a whopping £19 million from his hedge fund, Solo Capital. Shah enjoyed a huge year that ended March 31, 2011. He is the CEO of Solo Capital Management along with another 39 companies located around Europe in countries like Luxemburg, England and Malta.

Solo Capital Markets is owned by Sanjay Shah. He helped to grow the boutique financial services company into an international entity. The huge payday is an indication that business is good for the company with huge profits realization. Shah has successfully steered the company through a highly competitive market and is currently reaping the fruits of his hard work and dedication.

Another hedge fund boss who reaped huge returns in the same year is Yan Huo. Huo currently heads Capula Investment Management that is based in Knightsbridge, United Kingdom. Huo received £27 million in dividend payments. This was one of the highest payment achieved throughout the year. Huo’s Firm has specialized in betting on European debt markets. Capula Investment Management doubled its income from £69.5 million to an incredible £135 million figure. The firm’s operating profits also jumped from £57.7 million to £92.6 million.

Sanjay Shah is a United Kingdom citizen, accountant and avid entrepreneur. He rose from the bottom and built an impressive network of companies that currently span across Europe. He worked in the banking industry for close to 9 years before unemployment made him start his own company called Solo Capital Limited in 2011. The company deals with financial consulting services, professional sports investments and proprietary trading.

Today, Sanjay Shah has retired from active employment and lives in Dubai. He started a charity organization called Autism Rocks to help raise money to finance autism research. Autism Rocks organizes charity events and concerts. It donates all the money that is raised through the concerts to research. Sanjay Shah is personally invested in the organization because his youngest son was diagnosed with the disease. He has been able to organize many successful events that have been graced by the charity performances of top artistes like Michael Buble, Snoop Dogg, Drake, Prince and Lenny Kravitz.
