Alexandre Gama’s Success as an Entrepreneur in Advertising

Alexandre Gama is a Brazilian businessman who was born in 1958. He has had many achievements in his career. These include being the CEO of BBH, a role that presented the opportunity for him to work with communication agencies throughout the world. Alexandre has also been among the members in the Global Creative Board of the Publicis Groupe.

Gama attended the Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado University where he studied Advertising and Propaganda. In his first job, Alexandre was the editor at Standart Ogilvy. He joined DM9 as a copywriter in 1990. His role as a writer got him a lot of recognition in Brazil. Gama also worked at Young & Rubicam where he was the president and CCO.

In 1999, Alexandre Gama founded Neogama. Neogama has successfully worked with brands such Johnnie Walker. The “Giant Rock” campaign won the campaign of the year award in 2013. He sits on the Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies Board (ABAP) since 2012. ABAP is the representative of the communication and advertising industry in Brazil.
