Bugs are generally full of protein, and if you can get past the taste it is a good experience for a lot of people. However, there are many people who believe that this will never become mainstream. In many parts of the world today, people already eat insects as part of their daily diet. Here are some of the ways that this could transform the world if it becomes more popular.

Global warming is a massive issue that is facing the world today. One of the biggest drivers behind global warming is the fact that so much land is used to make food. Instead of using land to farm grains, people could start to eat insects as part of their daily diet.

Health Benefits

There are many health benefits that come along with eating insects as well. If you want to add more protein in your diet, this is a great way to do so. Adding protein supplements is generally not the best way to go. Instead, eating insects could replace a lot of the protein sources that we have today that are not as healthy. Although it sounds crazy, there is a large underground movement to support eating more insects in the diet.
