Switching from cross country to rallying- The story of Michel Terpins.
Onboard the T-Rex #322 Michel Terpins and Maykel Justo competing in the T1 prototype category were competing in the 24th edition of the Sertões Rally. The Bull Sertões Rally Team was being represented by this two while Michel terpins was taking part in his seventh competition of this rally circuit Maykel Justo was new. He had been recruited by the Bull Sertões Rally Team to be the designated navigator for Michel, and they had hope that the two could work together in the edition to bring home spectacular results. Maykel Justo is an experienced navigator, and it did not take long for him and Terpin to acquire a working rhythm. His experience would help Michel guide the T-Rex achieve position one in the second stage of the circuit this proved that the choice of Maykel was excellent. The team went on to achieve position five overall. The two admitted that they had encountered some challenges especially in the mountainous regions during the rally circuit.Their teamwork was however commended by other teammates who recognized their efforts despite various challenges they had faced.
Michel Terpins is an elite rally driver having competed in numerous races and won quite a few. His passion for rallying was developed long before he joined the sport that brings man and machine together. He had begun his career in cross country where as a rider he had been able to achieve the cross country champion title. His abilities as a rider would help him once he joined his brother Rodrigo Terpins another equally capable and successful driver and member of the Bull Sertões Rally Team. His brother had been very persuasive as he encouraged him to join rallying. He would guide Michel through the initial stages helping him grow as both a driver and navigator. Once the two were confident enough in their abilities, they would venture out to each get a navigator. This not only made the Bull Sertões Rally Team better but gave it options and more representation in the various competitions it enters. The team has been able to work with MEM motorsport to make the T-Rex their car of choice.
