Barbara Speers Comes To The Rescue With Homes

Barbara Stokes is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Green Structure Homes Delivered, LLC. She has a degree from Mercer University in Biomedical Engineering and Physics. She also has training and knowledge in the following area: Thermodynamics, Manufacturing and Management, as well as Structures and Properties of Materials.

Prior to her work at Green Structure Homes Delivered, she was with Pisces Corporation, an electronics research company and Boeing, a major manufacturer of aircraft parts. Other experiences include working with the Muscular Dystrophy Association as an administrative assistant and the University of Alabama as a research assistant. Barbara Stokes has a great deal of experience with government contracting, which benefits Green Structure Homes Deliver greatly due to their work with FEMA and the United States Government. Outside of work, Ms. Stokes is a mother of three and is passionately involved in her Huntsville community.

GSH is based in Huntsville, Alabama. It provides efficient state-of-the-art modular wood frame and steel homes. With the consumer’s budget in mind, GSH utilizes energy-efficient and environmentally friendly materials in building each home. All homes are constructed off-site. therefor leaving a minimal impact on the environment. GSH utilizes standardized procedures and processes. A Leader in the Disaster Relief Industry, GSH management staff has over 30 years of experience. Through their leadership, they have been able to provide the highest quality in disaster relief and government contracting. Past jobs have included working for the private sector, US Navy, US Army, US Air Force and FEMA.

In addition to building and designing homes, GSH also offers in-house project management services as well as installation and inspection of all structures. It caters to both the government and private sector and has an outstanding reputation since being established in 2008.

Recently, GSH announced additional employment opportunities in eight states. These jobs are a result of the recent $28.5M contract with FEMA. Focus will be to build homes as part of relief efforts following Hurricane Harvey. GSH is excited to offer these eight newly created jobs and to invest in each of the communities.
