Dr. Saad Saad has been performing thousands of complex and almost impossible pediatric surgeries for the past 4 decades successfully. In 1980, Dr. Saad got a rare opportunity to serve as the pediatric surgeon for the Saudi Royal Family. He had to relocate with his family to Saudi Arabia. This rare opportunity speaks volumes about his level of expertise.
He got this great opportunity because he was the only certified pediatric surgeon in the United States who is fluent in both English and Arabic at that time. Being a board-certified medical practitioner in the United States is very difficult. You will continuously undergo special training at your own cost, you will also continue to practice and most importantly, you are required to take and pass certain exam every ten years.

He actually worked at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital with highly trained nurses from the United Kingdom and the United States.
He spent about four and half years in Saudi Arabia. Although the hospital was meant for the royal family, children of the poor were allowed to come for complex surgeries too.
