Michael Burwell’s Vast Experience Makes Him Ideal For His New Role

Burwell is stepping into the role of Chief Financial Officer. Michael comes into the firm to fill the shoes of retiring CFO Roger Millay.

Michael Burwell’s extensive experience includes twelve years advising clients in transaction services and eleven years of audit experience. Wilson Towers Watson Chief Executive Officer John Haley is thrilled about being able to bring Michael Burwell on board. Michael Burwell, known as Mike, has been Chief Financial Officer for the firm Willis Towers Watson since the second of October 2017. Michael is a CPA. He previously served in numerous capacities for the firm Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University. He was Global and US Transformation Leader with PwC and served as a partner with the firm beginning in 2006.

 

Michael is the former Head of Pricewatherhouse Cooper’s Global Automotive Shareholder Value Awards Team as well as the former Head of Transaction Services Group from 2006 to 2008. For the past six years, Michael has been the Chairman of the Automotive Suppliers M&A Institute Conference. He also frequently speaks in regard to the automotive industry.
